Parent-Teacher League
EVERYONE is part of the Parent-Teacher League (PTL) organization. If you have a child enrolled at Immanuel, you are a member-at-large! The PTL is overseen by an elected executive board containing: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, school Principal, and teacher representatives.
PTL Mission
The purpose of the PTL is to foster and promote a better understanding and a closer relationship between the school, the home, and the church, so that parents and teachers can more effectively work together in communicating, educating, and financially supporting the best possible Christian education at Immanuel Lutheran Church and School (ILCS).
How can you get involved? Come to meetings! Meetings are held once a month during the school year to discuss teachers’ needs, classroom wants, school functions and fundraisers, and everything in-between. Attending meetings and joining a working committee are both great ways to stay informed and involved.
Want to stay up-to-date with what is happening? Look to the PTL newsletters. It contains important PTL and school information for the coming months.
Want to get know what is going on at school and in your kids' classrooms? Volunteer!!! Teachers are always looking for parent helpers for classroom activities. One of the ways PTL provides support to the teachers is to give them a break during their lunch hours a couple times a week. This is where parents can help monitor the lunchroom—volunteers are ALWAYS needed and welcome.
The PTL’s biggest fundraiser, our biennial Auction Gala, which is held every other year. Be on the lookout for more information as we get closer to the 2026 event!
